01 THE ODDS
Nobody sets a price. The odds of a horse are a quotient of two public numbers, recomputed at every ticket for all 42 at once. Backing a horse lowers its own odds: there is no way to stake without diluting yourself.
odds(i) = pot / stakes on i
02 THE WINNER
The winner is the horse whose share of the pot stayed the lowest on average over the whole race. No oracle, no outside result, no feed. The board settles itself, and a last minute rush changes almost nothing in a long average.
winner = min(avg share of 42)
03 THE DISTANCE
A race is 4,200 swaps at level 1. Not minutes, not blocks. Every trade on the pool moves the field one length and feeds the pot. A quiet market stretches the race, a nervous one shortens it. One swap is one length: capital buys no speed.
